Le Palais

The town Palace is no lack of interest and offers its visitors a large number of attractions to discover.

Listed building, the Vauban citadel is the main tourist attraction of the town Palace. Former royal fort, it overlooks the harbor and has several buildings as a powder magazine which hosts exhibitions and concerts, a museum about the history of Belle Île and the City Palace, a historical museum in Arsenal with old maps shows, the former home of the governor, the former officers' quarters, or quartering the waterfront hotel that serves today. The rest of the Citadel is visitable part.

Urban Palace site was also listed building. Built in the nineteenth century it was converted into walk and has a nature museum and a room used for parties or concerts.

Built in the early twentieth century, the Saint Geran church replaced an old building dating from the late seventeenth century. Completed in 1922, it has a granite architecture and a beautiful stained glass windows and mosaics. Inside, statues of the seventeenth century to the charm of the place.
