Built between the 14th and 16th centuries and completely restored in the 2010s, the Saint-André chapel in Monêtier-les-Bains, in the Hautes-Alpes, is now classified as a Historic Monument.
Accessible for guided tours on winter Wednesdays, the building notably features a very beautiful portal with carved consoles and capitals representing, among other things, an Atlantean and a lion. Mainly Romanesque in style, the Saint-André chapel also unveils in its interior very beautiful wall frescoes from the 15th century which represent the Last Judgment and heavenly Jerusalem.
