Located in the northeast Mayenne, partly through the RN12, Le Ham belongs to the canton of Horps since 1790. Covering an area of 2528 hectares, the town is bordered on the north by the Aisne and on the east by the Fraubée.
Many miles of hiking trails offer pleasant walks in the countryside and woods overlooking the valley spreads pond Bondi.
The Church of Ham is dedicated to the Virgin. The interior frescoes, stained glass windows made in 1962, as well as ceramics choir created and installed in 1978, are the work of Father Chardon. A legend tells us that the construction of the sanctuary was under Rousselière village, 2 kilometers from the village. Curiously, the work day by the workers, was destroyed that night. One morning, a stream appeared, people marveled understood that Our Lady of Ham did not want the church to be high Rousselière. She had traced the creek with her distaff and miraculously, had given rise and sink on a slightly hilly terrain before crossing the parish. Le Ham member of the Community of Communes Villaines-la-Juhel since 17 December 1993. Agriculture, shops and businesses are dynamic and prosperous. An educational group combines schools Ham and Loupfougères. Distractions are not lacking in the municipality where 11 very active associations live. Sport is well represented with four football teams and hundreds of licensees.
