Village of Drôme, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Le Grand-Serre takes place at the gates of Isère, not far from Beaurepaire, Hauterives and Montfalcon.
Occupied since prehistoric times, the territory of Grand-Serre was quickly colonized by the Allobroges Gauls, then by the Burgundians in the Middle Ages. Attached to the kingdom of France in 1349 with the rest of Dauphiné, the town distinguished itself during the Second World War with strong resistance activity.
Today mainly focused on tourism, and in particular cycle tourism, the town of Grand-Serre reveals to its visitors a heritage full of charm as well as preserved landscapes conducive to sports activities.
