The town of Cres its place at the heart of the department of Herault, Montpellier near the capital. Halfway between the Mediterranean and the first reliefs of the region, the Pic Saint Loup, the town offers visitors a variety of landscapes and a pleasant climate with hot dry summers.

Things to see and do

The town of Cres has a very pretty church dating from the eleventh century with a typical architecture of this part of the region.

Formerly Le Crès was crossed by Domitian whose presence is recalled by two military terminals that of Tiberius near the church, and that of Augustus.

A lake, in a former career in the mid 1990s, the delight of locals and visitors. orientation courses are especially offered.

The market takes place all year round on Sunday morning.

In May, the medieval festival of Cres to discover tournaments, musical and culinary events, and medieval shows and traditional markets.

Every weekend of August 15, the feast of the city, which begins Thursday, has bullfights, bowls tournaments, concerts or parades bands.
