Located in Haute-Savoie, the ski resort of Grand-Bornand takes place in the heart of a common labeled tourist town, between the massif of Bornes and the chain of Aravis. It enjoys the charm of traditional mountain villages, but with equipment at the forefront of innovation.
The ski resort of Grand-Bornand extends over two distinct areas, Le Grand-Bornand Village at 1000 meters above sea level, and Le Grand-Bornand Chinaillon at 1300 meters above sea level. The latter is the main point of departure for downhill ski runs.
On site, it is possible to ski on more than ninety kilometers of pistes dedicated to all levels. The resort also has a snowpark, and a Nordic ski area of about sixty kilometers of slopes.
Snowshoeing, paragliding, hot-air ballooning, snowmobiling and skating can also be introduced. The resort of Grand-Bornand also has many restaurants and other bars.
