Massif Central winter sports resort, Le Lioran takes place on the territory of the commune of Laveissière, in Cantal. It is located in the heart of the Volcanoes Park of Auvergne, and is one of the best equipped in the region.
Oscillating between forests and virgin mountains, it reveals sixty kilometers of slopes of all levels, as well as ninety kilometers of cross-country ski trails. It also has a boardercross and a snowpark, and remains open in summer, allowing the practice of hiking and mountain biking, climbing or canyoning.
The Lioran station is crossed by the path of Saint Jacques de Compostela, the GR4 connecting Royan to Grasse, and the GR400, the Volcano Tour of Cantal.
