Charming little village in the Hautes-Pyrénées, Lau-Balagnas takes place about forty kilometers from Tarbes, in the south-western part of Bigorre. It is located in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park, not far from Préchac, Saint-Savin or Argelès-Gazost.
Originally divided into two municipalities, that of Lau and Balagnas, the municipality of Lau-Balagnas was born in the middle of the 19th century from the merger of these two villages. Of ancient origin, these territories rich in history continue to reveal to their visitors all their architectural and natural mysteries.
