Coming to Lardy is a green that you will break by visiting gardens and criss-crossing the old town lying between the wooded hills and river valley bottom.
You will see beautiful houses with their typical wine cellar when Lardy was covered with vines. You will discover the character houses used for second homes for the rich Parisian families who came in late nineteenth-early twentieth century, relax in the countryside thanks to the railway line Paris-Orleans. More importantly, you will visit three outstanding gardens:
Park City Hall: Very beautiful trees and flowering original. Park stately home. Open from 8h to 20h (18h in low season). Location: 70 High Street. Free admission.
Boussard Park: Garden of the Art Deco era, created in 1927. Open from 8h to 20h (18h in low season). Location: 43 rue de Verdun. Free admission.
The Garden of Anne-Marie: Private garden on the banks in June - Rose Garden. Location: 2 rue du 8 mai 1945. Tel. : +33 1 60 82 30 63. Open all year round by appointment.
