Rural municipality of Côtes-d'Armor, Langrolay-sur-Rance takes place at the limit of the department of Ille-et-Vilaine, on the banks of the Rance. It is located not far from Pleslin-Trigavou, Pleurtuit and Tréméreuc.
Appeared at the end of the 11th century, the commune of Langrolay-sur-Rance then depended on the diocese of Saint-Malo. Its human occupation is however much older, as evidenced by the Gallo-Roman baths found on site during excavations in the 1970s. tourism, in particular thanks to the richness of its architectural heritage and its proximity to some of the most beautiful sites in the region.
