A 12th century Romanesque building built by the monks of Saint-Chaffre, the Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais church of Langogne has undergone numerous transformations over the centuries, particularly at the end of the 15th century. It consists of a nave flanked by two aisles opening onto chapels, including one dedicated to Our Lady of All-Powers. The latter houses a Black Madonna brought back from Rome by the Viscountess of Langogne who would have received it from the hands of the Pope.
The Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais church has been classified as a Historic Monument since the 19th century.
