The small town of Lampaul-Ploudalmézeau is beachfront, between St. Pabu at the entrance of the Aber Benoît, and the pretty port of Portsall.
All in length, the territory of the town extends from the towns and surrounding rural Plouguin Ploudalmézeau up a dune area rich in flora and fauna and a long sandy beach, the scenery always changing depending on the tide .
In its densely populated coastal area in the Neolithic, this is a rural community which was composed of small farms and a few mansions, today there are still farmers and artisans, but many of the inhabitants work in the Greater Brest.
