A 13th century building located overlooking the Dordogne, the castle of Lalinde is today a private property not accessible to the public. A prison in the 18th century, it was completely rebuilt in the 19th century, later becoming a luxury hotel-restaurant.
The castle of Lalinde has preserved from its origins two medieval corner turrets installed near the remains of the old keep.
