The common Labourgade includes land along the Gimone (west bank) and the slopes of the valley of the Garonne, once heavily forested.
The early church, which probably belonged to the abbey of Moissac, and of which there remains nothing, stood on a major communication channel for the period (Middle Ages), near the Gimone. The village has developed on both sides of the road, quite chaotic, with many dead ends. The current building was rebuilt in 1673 and 1873.
