The Petit-Menec alignments are located on the northern coastal town of La Trinité-sur-Mer, Morbihan.
They consist of 101 menhirs spread over 10 rows 7 of them are oriented to the east, the last three northeast.
Historical Monument in 1889, the site would be a continuation of the Kerlescan on the nearby town of Carnac.
The development of these standing stones dates from 4000 to 3000 years before AD notes, according to experts, that is to say the last phase of the Neolithic era (era of polished stone). Experts remain divided however on the deeper meaning of these alignments, a majority nevertheless agreeing their cult vocation.
