Located at La Talaudière, in the Loire, the Museum of Heritage and Measurement takes place in the heart of a magnificent wooded park, revealing to its visitors collections on weights and measures, but also on the mining heritage of the town.
On the program of this museum installed in a barn from the mid-19th century, the reconstruction of a miner's house with panels on daily life, as well as objects retracing three centuries of history of weights and measures of the Ancien Régime until contemporary times, in particular the establishment of the decimal metric system.
