Also known as the Grenier-aux-Rentes or the Jeanne de Laval manor, the La Ménitré manor was built during the 15th century at the will of King René for his second wife.
Listed as a Historic Monument, the La Ménitré manor was chosen in the 19th century to house the town hall of the town. Abandoned in 1870 following the construction of a new town hall, it then had several tenants before becoming a seed reserve. It is currently owned by Vilmorin-Mikado.
