Small village integrated into the National Park of the Cevennes, La Malène takes place in Lozère, in the Occitania region. It is located about twenty kilometers from Montbrun, in the arrondissement of Florac.
Today, popular with tourists and lovers of nature preserved, the commune of La Malène is also known for its boatmen who allow the discovery of the Tarn and its Straits. After having experienced very dark hours at the time of the French Revolution, this village in the southwest of France has recovered and offer the best of its heritage to its visitors.
