Fortified village of Aveyron, on the Larzac plateau, La Couvertoirade houses the remains of a former commander of the Templars today listed building. This castle, built in the twelfth century on a rocky promontory, still presents a dungeon square rubble. The latter houses an oven, a tank and three bedrooms and is juxtaposed with the main tower of Romanesque style. It notably reveals flat buttresses.
The set, which is then passed into the hands of the Hospitallers is still in excellent condition. Nearby, you can discover the church rebuilt in the fourteenth century by the Hospitallers.
