The Wind Instruments Museum was established in 1888 by the La Couture-Boussey musical instrument finishers. By founding the first instrument museum in France, they have the ambition to preserve and showcase the history of the local manufacture of musical instruments of the family of the woods.
Located in a still active production area, the Museum of Wind Instruments presents an exceptional collection of flutes, oboes and clarinets from the 18th century to the present day, as well as tools and machines that trace the economic and artistic history of the village and its surroundings., specialized in instrumental work since the 17th century.
Various events (workshops, meetings, museum snacks, concerts) are organized during the year.
Open all year except May 1st and from mid-November to January 31st (included) the following year. Closed on Mondays.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 14h to 18h. Guided tours at 2:30 pm and 4 pm
