An aerodrome open to tourism, business and leisure aviation based in Loire-Atlantique, La Baule-Escoublac airport was created at the end of the 1910s. Extending over more than sixty hectares, the site welcomes its first commercial lines in the 1930s, experiencing a significant economic boom.
La Baule-Escoublac airport today has a paved runway 950 meters long, a parking area, an airport terminal, a bar-restaurant, a fuel station and private hangars which allow it to take advantage of international routes, particularly to the United Kingdom. The site also hosts several leisure facilities for the practice of parachuting, ULM, private aviation or helicopter piloting.
