L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue floating market takes place every year on the first Sunday of August, along with the very famous Sunday market. It takes place on the arm of the Sorgue located opposite the public park and began to 9am and ended around 12:30. The Nego-Chin, typical boats flat bottom, slide from one side to the other to appeal to the public, and provide to them a medley of colors and scents (local productions such as fruits and vegetables, bouquets flowers, cheese, wine, bread ...). One can thus enjoy its market and, in addition, traditional Provencal costumes, music and commentary and live singing. But for that, get there early because access is very difficult! When the floating market ends, Chin-Nego meet online as well as all participants in the traditional market, and together they sing the famous Coupo Santo celebrates Provence.
