L'Hôpital-le-Mercier, peaceful village between Digoin Marcigny and is a few hundred meters from the Loire (however, without direct access to the river). It remains active (joinery, farmers, school, coffee shop, gravel, riding ...).
It has an old chapel (in the cemetery), a cross and a nearby 19th century church in the village. The Mayor is also in the village, next to the village hall. Formerly, the Templars may have lived in the town that they should part of its name.
