The castle and especially its park, dominating the Alsace plain, is organized along two main axes: the upper east-west terrace, in front of the perspective of the castle and the lower terraces in steps towards the south facing the plain. Its current design dates back to the 1920s and was designed by Alexandre Grunélius: an upper part "à la française" adorned with topiaries of conifers, boxwood benches around statues and water features, which gradually merges to the top.
