Klingenthal

Klingenthal owes its interest to the famous royal manufacture of knives founded in the eighteenth century. The whole village consists of old buildings of this plant, and we can still discover a museum dedicated to the mill. Inside, collections of machines and other reconstructions of workshops allow to realize the work of the time. It is also possible to admire a beautiful collection of old weapons there. A guided tour is offered to better understand the process of manufacture of these weapons.

Every first Sunday of the month, blacksmithing demonstrations are offered from March to September, visitors. In June, the factory also has an identification workshop knives to better understand the work done previously.
