Populated by nearly 900 residents, the village of Juliénas is located in the extreme north of the Rhône department, near the Saône-et-Loire and its vineyards of the Mâconnais. A fifteen kilometers from Macon and twenty kilometers of Villefranche-sur-Saône, Juliénas is a warm and welcoming village where the wine culture is an ancestral tradition. Outside of wine tourism, the village of Juliénas also offers an interesting historical heritage with buildings reflecting the typical architecture of the region over the centuries. Bordered by the mountain of Bessay, by Mount Rémont or the confluence of the Poor and Cotoyon stream, the village offers an exceptional nature, ideal for trekking and discovering the fauna and the local flora.
