Community of more than 2,700 inhabitants, Jarzé-Villages takes place in Maine-et-Loire, in the Pays de la Loire region. New town since January 2016, it was born from the regrouping of the villages of Beauvau, Chaumont-d'Anjou, Jarzé, and Lué-en-Baugeois. It is about thirty kilometers from Angers, and about forty-five kilometers from Saumur.
A former medieval stronghold, the territory of Jarze has developed over the centuries under the influence of the various houses that have succeeded each other. The new town of Jarzé-Villages now includes the architectural heritage of all the communes combined, offering an interesting group to discover.
