Built in the 19th century, the Château de Frapesle, at Issoudun, had the honor of hosting several stays of the great French author, Honoré de Balzac. This former fortified castle now embellished with a colonial-style balcony erected on feet in the second half of the 19th century takes place within a five-hectare park.
Listed as a Historic Monument, the Château de Frapesle is now the property of the Luneau family and cannot be visited.
