Île-Tudy or The Île-Tudy is a municipality on the southern coast of Finistère, in the Brittany region, 20 km south of Quimper.

The territory of the locality faces north to Loctudy, and its south coast overlooks the bay of Bénodet.

Until the mid-nineteenth century, the Île-Tudy was connected to the mainland by a sand dune forming 300 hectares of mudflats and meadows but in bad weather, breaches were formed and the town was isolated. In 1852, polders were built and a road connected the Comnit to the Île-Tudy.

Long regarded as one of the most important fishing ports of southern Finistère, the town is still developing with the establishment of canneries in the nineteenth century, the last unit closing its doors in the last third of the twentieth century.

At the beginning of the twenty-first century, fishing is only a hobby, and the port is now devoted to pleasure. However, the village has retained a culture and a typical physiognomy, which with its beaches and recreation, make since the 1950s a pleasant seaside resort popular with a family audience. With more than 750 inhabitants year round, the Île-Tudy comes alive in the summer and is a stage of interest.
