Near the border with Span, at the edge of the Basque Corniche, the charming seaside resort of Hendaye reveals a harmonious seafront dotted with numerous Neo-Basque villas dating from the early 20th century. Discover its listed heritage buildings on a walk along the pleasant Boulevard de la Mer... On the way, facing the ocean, you can take a break at the former Casino Croisière, built in the Neo-Moorish style, which nowadays contains shops, cafés and restaurants. An immense sandy beach, three kilometres long, with a view of the famous rocks known as the "Two Twins" (Les Deux Jumeaux) and the cliffs of the Basque Corniche add to the attractiveness of the area. A wide range of water sports is on offer there, from surfing to kayaking, through sailing, jet-skiing and sea diving!
