The Coccinelle leisure park is located at Gujan-Mestras, in the Gironde, 50 km south-west of Bordeaux and near the beaches.
It is both an amusement park (the oldest of its kind in the region) and a wildlife park.
Created in 1985, it offers 23 attractions dedicated to thrill-seekers (such as the Mine Train or the giant 10m high slide), for all ages or specifically young children (carousels, "giant ladybugs"...). Water attractions are also accessible.
On the "animal" side, the park is particularly suitable for pets. A mini-farm allows youngsters to safely approach lambs, farmyard animals, cattle or more exotic species. At certain times, children are invited to give the bottle to the young kids, lambs or calves.
Picnic areas and shaded areas dot the park.
Open during Easter and All Saints holidays, every day in June, July and August and weekends in September.
