Things to see and do

Old, the Valentine's church has elements dating back to the fifteenth century for the oldest. Located in the center of a small churchyard whose entrance is decorated with a Pieta of the sixteenth century, it reveals a great variety in architecture. You can admire the outer gate of Breton Renaissance porch or a beautiful frieze carved inside the porch.

Walking through the town, you can also discover several cross as the stele Christianized Croas Teo-inspired Celtic crosses or Croas Livet. The latter, entirely kersanton, was built in the late fifteenth century and has beautiful sculptures to religious themes.

Grand nearly fifty hectares, the park reveals beautiful Keroual visitors a hundred local and exotic species on its walking trails. It also features ponds and lakes, a creperie in a former mill or Keroual Mansion, former home of Louise Keroual, mistress of King Charles II and secret agent of the King of France, Louis XIV. Completely rebuilt in 1950 after being burned by the Germans in 1944, the building now houses artists in residence-creation.

Built in the second half of the eighteenth century, the fort was to Penfeld original purpose of defending the town and port of Brest English invasions. Decommissioned in 1990, it was bought by the town in order to save this architectural heritage.
