Villeneuve-sur-Aisne

Listed building, St Peter Guignicourt church was built in the twelfth century but suffered extensive damage during the Thirty Years War in the seventeenth century. Fully restored at that time, she was again ravaged during the horrors of the First World War. Rebuilt again in the 1930s, it has an entry in the Art Deco style. As you wander around, you will also enjoy the castle park classified Remarkable Garden, or the Cross of Sarajevo inaugurated in 2008 to remember the sacrifice of French soldiers during the war in Yugoslavia.

The walk of Illerrieden is the part of intervillages connecting path through Guignicourt, Menneville, Neufchâtel-sur-Aisne and Evergnicourt. Seven kilometer course very nice, it is now reserved for cyclists and pedestrians, and takes place on the old railway line. The banks of the Aisne, appointed also the opportunity to make a nice ride with family or friends.

Passing by Menneville, seduced by the St. Lawrence church, the crosses or the marquee of the twelfth century. The town also has a very nice golf course from nine holes.
