Guichen is 45 km from Redon and 20 km from Rennes, fifteen minutes to separate the Rennes metropolis. The town has more than 7500 people includes two cities: the Guichen and the Pont-Rean. Pont-Rean is at the crossroads of the Vilaine and Rennes-Redon axis, and owes its name to a bridge whose construction is attributed first to the Romans. The current bridge dates from 1767 and is classified as a historical monument.
Guichen has the attractiveness of the valley of the Vilaine which borders on 12 km, with individual sites Boel and Moulin de la Bouëxière. The site of Boel is one of the most visited in Ille-et-Vilaine sites.
At Pont-Rean is provided a water spot for river tourism, you can practice canoeing or pedal boating. Many hiking trails offer ways to discover these places to walk. The plans are available at the Town Hall, on the website of the town or from the land of valleys Vilaine.
