Goult is a small village in the Vaucluse department, in the heart of the Luberon Regional Nature Park. It nestles in the Monts de Vaucluse, near tourist attractions such as Gordes, Roussillon and its ocher, Lacoste and its castle of the Marquis de Sade or Bonnieux and Ménerbes.
Lovers of old stones will be immediately seduced by the small alleys of Goult and not its typical architecture of southern cities of France. Rich in stone houses and ocher, the village of Goult has a certain charm, enhanced by the presence of various monuments full of interest. Around the village, olive trees, oaks, agricultural plantations and other beautiful landscapes are a reflection of all the beautiful Provencal countryside in this part of the country.
Ideally located, the village of Goult can find nearby the most beautiful cities of the region like L'Isle-sur-Sorgue, Aix-en-Provence, Orange, Arles or even Marseille.

Set in the hills of the village, just behind the castle, the mill of Jerusalem is a windmill dating from at least the eighteenth century. It owes its name to the Crusades which formerly attended the lords of Agoult. The monument offers breathtaking views across the valley Calavon.
Located below the village, in the hamlet of Lights, Our Lady of Lights has become an important pilgrimage, following the miraculous appearance of lights in the middle of the seventeenth century. The site consists of a shrine and a chapel in which is mounted a Black Madonna in procession every August 15.
Ancient burial dolmen Ubac was accidentally discovered in the mid 1990. The excavations have unearthed the tomb of four people buried in the Neolithic period.
Dominated by its thirteenth-century castle, now private, the old village was once protected by a fortified wall. You can still see the ramparts of the northern part, dug in the rock.
Walking through the old center of Goult, one can enjoy various ancient remains, such as the clock tower, a fountain with a wash, or admire the narrow streets, houses and other Provencal craft shops.
Romanesque style, the Saint Sebastian Church was built in the twelfth century. It still hosts today a beautiful Baroque altarpiece.

The Conviviales are held in February. On this occasion, the Community of Communes has several shows in the ballroom.
In spring, a small market is organized around a heritage day and Alsatian and Provençal products.
The honey festival takes place every third Sunday of July, allowing beekeepers to meet the Vaucluse and enjoy educational activities around honey.
For four days around the August 15, Goult organizes exciting crafts and cultural events. On this occasion, the village offers a show, crafts, readings of writers and various animations.
Also in August, Goult offers a very interesting jazz festival and organizing several concerts by artists from around the world.
In September, time for votive festival with the presence of rides and games on the Liberation Square.
Every December 24, Goult goultois ministry organizes, in Provençal, with the arrival of the Three Kings and Father Christmas.
