Heritage fortified Givet: Givet illustrates the historical past of this troubled border region between two enemy kingdoms. First Fortified by Charles V in the sixteenth century, the city was rebuilt by Vauban in the seventeenth century. City Givet is characterized by its narrow streets, its citadel, its fortified church, its imposing doors but also its towers: the tower Gregory (eleventh century) and Victory Tower.

Charlemont Citadel Givet:

Charlemont has since 1555 occupied a strategic position in the heart of Europe. First defense of the empire of Charles V, the stronghold was then coveted and besieged by all the Great Europe and until 1914 it has never done. Today is the tourist who goes to storm the citadel, a privileged witness of history. outdoor discovery on a marked trail, traveling East Point, the old town of Charlemont, or galleries appointed over the centuries to defend the citadel. The Charlemont site is protected as historical monuments since October 24, 1927.

The citadel of Givet is open every day except Tuesday, from 10:30 to 18:30.
A visit lasts from 1h30 to 2 hours; last entry to the tour at 16:30.
The tours are free.

Three tours are offered daily. At 11h, 14h and 16h.

Out opening period, the citadel is open to groups by reservation.
Access to the site is from Givet Road in Charlemont. The cars, camper and small vehicles are allowed to park on site. A deposit area for buses is fitted in the access up to the site.
Tickets are on sale at the box office at the entrance of the site after the first door.

The European Center for Crafts:

Old Armory, it now offers movie theaters (Movies VF, soundtracks, and 3D broadcasts on big screen concerts, operas, ballet, sporting events, etc.) and a space for performing arts (theater, songs, concerts, puppet shows, circuses, etc.). Model Museum Reduced:

Established in 2002, the Miniature Train Givetois to aim to recreate an imaginary model railroading model miniature train directly inspired by the tip of the Ardennes. A discovery of the rail network and model trains reproductions striking realism.
Museum open from April to September.
In April, May, June and September, the museum is only open from 14h to 18h weekend.
In July and August it is open daily from 14h to 19h.
Admission: € 2.
Free for children under 10 accompanied.
