Things to see and do

Completely yellow stone and covered with slate, Cross castle sits on a charming terrace overlooking the Bourbince. The original building was built in the first half of the fifteenth century, but the current date of the eighteenth century, with additions dating from the nineteenth. Private property that is unfortunately not visit, it has a rectangular main building with two wings slightly advanced and surrounded by a beautiful English park.

Opened in 2006, the interpretation center of the line to discover the history of the demarcation line that cut France during World War II after the Armistice signed in 1940. The building that houses the wonderful collections used at the time to define the route of the famous line.

To enjoy sunny days and the local fauna and flora, the management of wood Riollot appreciated for its charm and authenticity.

Events and festivities

The weekly market is held every Sunday morning. A Christmas market with entertainment is offered in December. Various events like tarot tournaments, festive meals or lotteries are organized throughout the year.

A bicycle race is proposed to May 8

Concerts are held in June on the occasion of Music Day.

In July, National Day, Génelard organized fireworks.
