Fretigney-et-Velloreille is located in the department of Haute-Saone, Franche-Comté region. It is located 23 km from Vesoul, 35 km and 32 km from Gray Besançon. It is well positioned in the center of the triangle of these three cities. The inhabitants are called fry, Fretines.
The village is part of the canton of Fresne-Saint-Mames and community common Gy Mountains Located at 240 meters altitude, Fretigney-et-Velloreille covers 22 km ². The mayor is Nicole Milesi. There are about 680 people in Fretigney hamlet of Velloreille included.
The village is relatively complete since one can find shops and services nearby (bakery, tobacconist, hairdresser, bar, supermarket, restaurant kebab, pharmacy, physician, dentist, podiatrist ...), the artisans and entrepreneurs, sports or cultural associations, and services: a fire station, a kindergarten with a home and many extracurricular facilities (church, HLM, hall (Fourouze Street), gym, football and bowls, ponds, etc.).. - The Fretigney ALF is organising its American-style angling marathon in Fretigney-et-Velloreille. - This event takes place in teams of two, lasts 7 hours and is open to all anglers. - Classification is by weight per sector. - The meeting point is at 6.30am and the draw is at 7am, with fishing starting at 9am. - From 9am to 11.30am : 2 anglers - From 11.30am to 12.30pm : 1 angler - From 12:30 to 13:30 : the 2nd angler - End of fishing at 4pm - English fishing authorised, - All fish except sturgeon. - Other rules : - - Groundbait 15 Kg - - Pellets 3 Kg - - Bait 2 Litres - - No fouling allowed - - Bloodworms allowed on the hook - Price : €30 per team of 2 anglers. - Refreshments and catering on site.
