Listed as an historic monument, the Saint-Pierre-Liversou church in Francoulès, in the Lot, was originally the property of the priory of Molières. Built in the 12th century, this charming building reveals a single nave ending in a vaulted choir in the bottom of the oven.
Inside, visitors will be able to admire very beautiful Gothic paintings, a 13th century Byzantine Christ on the vault of the apse or a painted Annunciation from the 14th century.
Largely rebuilt in the 15th century following the horrors of the Hundred Years War, the Saint-Pierre-Liversou church is also attractive with its side chapels which reveal very beautiful frescoes.
