Green station of the Regional Natural Park of Haut-Languedoc, Fraisse-sur-Agout takes place in Occitania, in the department of Hérault. This small village of a little more than 350 inhabitants is located on the mountain, in the arrondissement of Béziers. It is also bordering the department of Tarn via the commune of Murat-sur-Vèbre.
Today, the village of Fraisse-sur-Agout is especially appreciated for its natural heritage and ecological tourism. If the site is known for its farms and its timber exploitation, it is mostly frequented for its hiking trails or outdoor activities.
