North Town, region Hauts-de-France, Flines-lez-Raches takes place about thirty kilometers from the tourist town of Lille, in the triangle formed by the city, Douai and Valenciennes. It lies at the heart of the Natural Regional Park Scarpe Escaut, near Bouvignies, Râches and Orchies.
Occupied since the Gallo-Roman, as evidenced by the tiles found on site during archaeological excavations in the territory of Flines-lez-Raches developed from this period through the work of the tile.
