In the Middle Ages, the Falga belonged to the Lord Deaussens who lived in Tourettes, north of the commune.
In 1681, Philippe de Caffarelli, lawyer in the Parliament of Toulouse and controller of the Canal du Midi, bought the castle of Falga. Among his grandchildren, the most famous Maximilian made Bonaparte the campaign of Egypt where amputated one leg he will continue the fight and will be killed in 1798 in St Jean d'Acre.
The hall typically lauragaise dates from 2013, built in oak according to ancestral know-how. Heart of the village, it gathers on all occasions, especially during the summer markets on Monday morning.
The commune of Falga extends on a series of limestone plateaux northwest of Saint-Félix-Lauragais. It is crossed by two streams that have dug their bed at the bottom of the valley.
The Falga: toponym of clearing meaning "heath to ferns".
