- To get to Eyzahut:
- TGV (Montélimar station).
- 3 hours from Paris and 1 hour from Lyon.
- By road (A7 motorway): From the north: Exit Montélimar nord, la Coucourde, Sauzet, Cléon-d'Andran, Charols and Eyzahut. From the south: Exit Montélimar sud, Montélimar, La Bégude-de-Mazenc, Souspierre and Eyzahut.
- History:
- Its name originates from: "aisia" which means house and "uch" which means high.
- In history, the Romans left traces of their passages there, as did the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem leaving for the First Crusade, around the years 1100-1110.
- In 1392, Eyzahut was looted and set on fire by a band of adventurers.
- Around 1850, the first route saw the light of day; it is the path of Poët-Laval and that of the mills of Rochebaudin which were the two essential passages.
- In 1968, there were between 65 and 70 inhabitants. That same year, construction of the current large basin at the municipal swimming pool.
