Common Bouches-du-Rhône, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Eygalières set at the foot of Provence among Orgon and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. It is located near Cavaillon, Saint-Andiol and Eyragues.
Inhabited since prehistoric times, the territory of Eygalières took off in the Gallo-Roman period before full development in the Middle Ages. Originally turned to farming, the village is undergoing profound changes in the nineteenth century with the development of agriculture and the arrival of the railroad. It has included several AOC wines like Coteaux des Baux de Provence or the valley of Les Baux de Provence olive oil.
Today Eygalières continues to attract all visitors passing through, as much by its rich architectural and cultural heritage with its many spectacular landscapes.
