Located in the heart of the Territoire de Belfort, the Etueffont forge-museum takes place in a completely renovated 18th century building. Labeled Musée de France and listed in the Historic Monuments, it offers to discover the life and work of four generations of blacksmiths, peasants and farriers, the Petitjean family.
A guided tour allows you to admire the old residential house before discovering a collection of objects and tools related to iron, wood or clay work. In addition to the film Camille the blacksmith, which allows you to discover the life of yesteryear and the development of zero waste, the museum also offers a treasure hunt by reservation to discover the site in a more fun way.
Dynamic, the Etueffont forge-museum regularly organizes blacksmithing courses, as well as various activities or workshops dedicated to all ages.
