Commune of nearly 9000 inhabitants, in Meurthe-et-Moselle, in the Greater East region Essey-lès-Nancy takes place at the gates of Nancy and its famous Place Stanislas. It is located near Dommartemont Tomblaine and Lay-Saint-Christophe.
Populated since the Gallo-Roman, the town of Essey-lès-Nancy develops in the course of the Middle Ages under the influence of four religious communities present on site.
