Charming small village of Vaucluse, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Entrechaux takes place fifty kilometers from Avignon and the Papal Palace. It lies at the confluence of the Ouvèze and Toulourenc, near Vaison-la-Romaine and Pierrelongue, on the edge of the Drôme department.
Inhabited since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the remains found there, the territory of Entrechaux developed initially to antiquity, especially seeing Hannibal and his troops move towards the Alpine passes. Over the centuries, the town has gradually taken its current pace, turning mainly to tourism, but also viticulture, particularly through Ventoux wine production (AOC).
