Lively and rich architectural heritage, the town of Eaubonne takes place in Île-de-France, Val-d'Oise department. Located in the heart of the valley of Montmorency, about a dozen kilometers from Paris, it is adjacent to Soisy-sous-Montmorency.
Formerly known as Aqua Puta or Purified Water, the city of Eaubonne was occupied from Celtic times. Former property of the abbey of Saint-Denis, she became a Lordship of Montmorency in the eleventh century. Built in 1762, the Mezieres hotel has been listed historical monument. Old City Hall, today it serves as an exhibition. On the edge of the park, one can still admire two guard houses from the castle of the Court of Charles now disappeared. Made in the eighteenth century, they have both been listed as Historic Monuments.
Creation of architect Claude-Nicolas Ledoux, the Little Castle was built in the second half of the eighteenth century. Classified as an historic monument, one can now admire the façade.
Chateau Louis XV style, the castle of Chesnaie was also classified as an historic monument. In one of the pavilions of the building, destroyed during the nineteenth century, the owner of the moment, Madame d'Houdetot, welcomed Jean-Jacques Rousseau in writing his Confessions.
Around the old center, other castles reveal their adornment, like that of the Clos-de-Olive became House of Arts, Château des Cedres Troubadour style, or the castle who gets Philipson the plane of the Little Castle Claude-Nicolas Ledoux.
Built in the twelfth century and modified regularly, the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in particular inspiration for his paintings Maurice Utrillo. One can also admire a more modern church in Eaubonne, that of the Sacred Heart, whose construction began in the 1930s.
Green City including three flowers in the competition of cities and flowered villages of France, Eaubonne reveals several green areas perfect for relaxation or outdoor activities. Maintained by the gardeners Eaubonne the Garden of Chesnaie is the opportunity to enjoy various vegetables. Open to the public, the Val-Joli Park has a beautiful pond with jets.

In June, Eaubonne organizes the feast of Saint John with several events.
Eaubonne-Jazz is a festival that features several concerts in September.
The city also offers a Christmas market with various animations.
