City Drusenheim is located in the Bas-Rhin, in the heart of Alsace. With more than 5000 inhabitants, it is located on the Rhine, on the railway line Strasbourg - Lauterbourg, and the EV 15 Rhine cycle route that connects the source of the Rhine to Rotterdam.

Built in 1839, the Saint-Mathieu church is dedicated to the patron saint of the city. It was restored after the Second World War, in 1949. From a neoclassical style, it regularly hosts cultural events.
Drusenheim town hall, built in 1822, is housed in the oldest building in town still active. The facade shows a typical Alsatian style architecture.
Head of the Community of Communes Rhine area, the villa Wenger is located next to the main bridge on the Drusenheim Moder. It has a garden where various species prevail. Once owned by the Wenger family, she has been devastated by American bombing during the Second World War and rebuilt in 1945.
