- Complementary to the Paris Shoah Memorial, the Drancy Shoah Memorial is a place of mediation between the site of the former internment camp and the public, a place of history and transmission, inaugurated in September 2012 It allows the school public as well as the general public to better understand the history of the city of La Muette and in particular the central role of the Drancy camp in the exclusion of Jews from France during the Second World War and in the implementation of the "Final Solution" by the Nazis in France, with the complicity of the Vichy government.
- Built on land made available by the town of Drancy, this memorial was designed by Swiss architect Roger Diener as a sober and dignified building. Respectful of the site and the urban environment, it offers the visitor a panoramic view of the city of La Muette, its large bay windows allowing it to maintain a permanent dialogue with it. A place of history and education open to all, it offers over an area of 2,500 m² and on 5 levels, a permanent exhibition on the history of the camp, several educational rooms, a documentation center and a conference room. Upon entering, the visitor can discover the faces of 12,000 internees at the Drancy camp between 1941 and 1944 appearing successively on the wall.
